Ever wonder what modern-day Masque music should sound like? Well, Crystal Fighters are working hard to ensure that you no longer need to ask the question.
"Earth Island" is all over the place -- a bit more experimental than we're used to going with Song of the Day -- but clearly deserving the tag "original."
The song is powerful and energetic, with hints of reggae and electronic rock. To boot, the production is fantastic. Clearly there's a parallel to be drawn to a band they share part of a name with: Crystal Castles.
