Sweet baby Jesus! Crystal Castles have just unveiled their first official remix from their recently released album (III)!
Brought to us by Canadian DJ duo Hugsnotdrugs, this version of "Pale Flesh" widens Crystal Castles musical horizons to something more airy and trapped-out. Alice Glass' ghostly vocals are not compromised but reverberated through gaps of heavy bass with expansive soundscapes that only add to their natural scary movie aesthetic.
This house edit is surely one that goes down as one of my favorite CC remixes to date, but if you're wanting more you should check out their grimier ghetto bass mix of "Courtship Dating" from their debut LP.
