Why do we like this?
Since catching our attention late last year with their debut single "Ain't Horrible," Melbourne band Crepes return with a new track titled "Stages of Fear."
The five-piece are putting the finished touches on an EP, and Indie Shuffle are pleased to premiere the latest indication of what to expect on the upcoming record.
"Stages of Fear" again sees the band take a fun, whimsical approach, but this time around we're treated to a much more upbeat version of the slacker-pop genre. The song touches on a number of different reference points and eras, highlighting the band as an intriguing new prospect to keep an eye on. As a big fan of UK band The Bees, this sort of music is right up my alley!
Crepes' debut EP will be out in the coming months.
