Sounds like:
Tensnake,
HNNY,
Andreas Saag
Why do we like this?
The output of Sweden's Local Talk varies quite a lot, from some quite run-of-the-mill deep house to tracks like Crackazat's "Somewhere Else," which really pushes the boundaries of the genre.
"Somewhere Else" first recalls Tensnake's awesome "Coma Cat," with its use of African style steel drums and marimbas, underscored by a house beat to create something which is melodic and funky at once.
It's the first we've really heard from the Swedish producer, but after this we'll definitely be keeping our eyes on him, with a debut album due out on Local Talk in early 2015. In the meantime, head here to buy "Somewhere Else", and head to Facebook to keep up with Crackazat.
