Why do we like this?

courtship. is an unsigned, independent duo from LA, whose previous singles – "Perfect People" and "Sunroof" – were used in Snapchat campaigns. 

Despite not having a label, they've have accumulated over 5.5 million Spotify streams; "Tell Me Tell Me" is their latest single. 

The track starts with a funky, warm throwback vibe – like something straight out of 80s. (Think "You Can Call Me Al" era Paul Simon.) But it's also got that calm vibe of mid-late 2000s indie scene, a la m83 or even Peter Bjorn And John. So it's a compelling fusion.
