First they released “Stop For Nothing,” a debut single that rode in on the wings of summer, blew everyone’s minds, and essentially became 2016’s anthem of youthful exuberance on its way to millions of Spotify/SoundCloud streams.
Then they kept the good vibes coming with their second single “Love For Everyone,” (which is what you feel after listening to it in case you haven’t tried it yet), and now courtship. are back with their third offering, a gorgeous brain melter titled “Sail Away.”
This one’s a richer, thicker cut of electro-pop than the first two, but it still maintains the emotional-purge-via-chorus powers that they’ve shown the ability to harness in their music thus far. I can see it both booming over a crowd of thousands as the red sun drops behind the mountains at Coachella or as the soundtrack behind two pairs of eyes meeting in slow motion from across the room at a house party - either way there’s an undeniable weight to it that sinks into the trenches of your imagination.
Sexy stuff from LA’s finest. 2017’s looking brighter and brighter with more courtship. on its side.
