Courtney Barnett has released a star-studded video for her 2015 track "Elevator Operator," a standout from her excellent Grammy-nominated record Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit.
The clip, directed by Sunny Leunig, sees Barnett dressed as - you guess it - a traditional elevator operator. It begins with a scene of the legendary Sleater-Kinney as tourists in the park, before Barnett races to her elevator, where the fun begins. Each level stops at a new and strange place, like a bowling alley with Paul Kelly, while a wide variety of special guests come and go, like The Drones dressed as extremely aggressive corporate workers. This is wonderfully entertaining, and the perfect accompaniment to the great song.
