After releasing their debut EP Surge just a couple of months back, Sydney duo Cosmo's Midnight aren't ready to slow down just yet. The twins Cosmo and Patrick Liney quickly gained momentum after producing stellar remixes of Lykke Li and Flume, and have already supported the likes of xxyyxx, Cashmere Cat, and TOKiMONSTA on their visits to Australia.
Their single "The Dofflin" continues on from the slick production and buoyant beats we enjoyed so much on Surge. This is the most dance-floor friendly track we've heard for them, and I can almost see the bobbing heads as soon as the beat kicks in. It will come as no surprise to hear that Ta-ku chose to feature his remix of this track on his Retwerk Vol. 2 album last month (which you can give a listen to here); it's tailor-made for his beat-driven style.
With the electronic genre still blowing up Down Under, Cosmo's Midnight are one of the up-and-coming forces keeping this movement traveling forward.
