Why do we like this?
Sydney's Convaire have been absent from the spotlight recently, but they look ready for re-launch with the release of their first new music in a couple of years. After a line-up reshuffle, the (now) four-piece are back with the same enthusiasm that saw them develop into a local favorite after the release of their debut EP in 2011.
New track "Talk in Technicolour" is a step up for Convaire, as they take on a more mature sound to what we've heard from them in the past. Possessing a slick bass line, hooky vocals, and a generous slice of disco flair, it'll have you humming along in no time.
A track like this is the perfect way to re-introduce a band, and there looks to be much more in store with a sophomore EP due out next year. Welcome back Convaire, you were missed.
