I'm so excited to bring Comfort Clouds to the Indie Shuffle community. This avant-garde indie pop band has been at this game for years and it surely shows!
Their debut album, Three New Sciences, features a breezy yet obscure approach to experimental indie pop that's rarely kept alive these days. I can definitely hear the wholesome influences of the original indie generation. It's got a familiar sound to it, but that sound is accompanied by the skewed chords and not-so-traditional composition. The woodwinds add an airiness to what would otherwise be an indie rock-centered album.
Comfort Clouds have most definitely set their own stage for an original and impressive album release. Three New Sciences is out now; don't miss out!
