Why do we like this?
We love wunderkind producer Roosevelt, and he's been popping up more and more recently. This time, it's his touch on a COMA rework that's landed him back on Indie Shuffle. The track is called "Les Dilettantes," and it's a silky, synthy gem.
Roosevelt polishes the staccato skips of the original into a more formulaic but also more fun rendering. It's a familiar nu (tropically infused) disco backdrop that propels the track, but it's by no means unwelcome. There's something so inviting about this genre of electronic, and I constantly marvel at how innovation within the style continues at a breakneck pace.
This will put you in a good mood wherever you happen to be, so enjoy.
