Well, for Los Angeles beatmaker Jerome LOL, it did the same. It did it so much so that he has gone ahead and given the original a complete makeover. Unlike the simple strumming guitar chords and Chris Martins' vocals lullabying you, Jerome LOL completely digitizes the whole track, including the vocals. Hazy digital beats and synths perform as the melody as auto-tuned vocals drown you into a gloomy apocalyptic future. It captures the sadness from the original in its town way.
The track is going to be featured on Jerome LOL's EP set to be released next year. Friends of Friends will have the pleasure of releasing it.
