First up, let me clarify that this song was originally written and released by The Weeknd. It was a beautiful song, and inspired many other artists to cover or remix their own versions. Perhaps its best cover came in the form of Coeur de Pirate's excellent rendition back in August of 2011.
Given that almost two years have passed since that version was released, it was a bit of a surprise to see Salacious Sound bring the remix up earlier this month. When I heard it I assumed it was new, but it turns out that this remix has been sitting in the archives of Soundcloud for roughly six months now.
Fortunately music doesn't have an expiration date, and I'm quite happy to be bringing this to the forefront of Indie Shuffle right now. Because it's good :)
