Why do we like this?
When people ask me what my favorite type of music is, I always have to answer the same way: I don't have one. That's because at any given moment I could be cycling through dubstep, indie pop or a folk acoustic cover. And in this case, I happen to be into a sorta deep house / future garage single, courtesy of Ralph Myerz.
The original track titled "Hallucination" was released by Coco Morier, part of the INGRID collective out of Sweden. If you're not familiar with INGRID, it's a collective of artists that include the likes of Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn & John and Miike Snow. Nicole Morier, operating under the band name Coco Morier, just happens to have been one of the founding members of this collective.
Ralph Myerz's late night trip is exactly that -- the perfect single for driving through empty downtown avenues in the wee hours of the morning. I have a feeling it'd also work pretty well in a club :)
