Coach Bombay Cool Thing (Ft. Elle Young)

Coach Bombay, moniker of Melbourne musician Terry Mann, is the definition of a bedroom producer. From the project's inception in 2009, it took four full years to see the light of day; Mann finally launched his live show last year in celebration of his debut album, Pops. Back in 2012, we featured the album's single "Love," a catchy electro-pop gem topped off with vocals from fellow Melbourne artist Elle Young. Now, with a second album on the way, Mann and Young are excited to bring you the premiere, featured here on Indie Shuffle!

In my review of "Love," I stated, "If making you happy is his goal, he achieves this with ease," and thankfully nothing seems to have changed! "Cool Thing" takes off at a sharp pace and doesn't look back, with Coach Bombay's signature computer game synth riffs running riot. I can understand why he's re-enlisted the services of Young -- her bold vocals are a terrific match to Mann's production. Don't think too hard about this one; just press play and wait for this song to get stuck in your head -- it won't take long till you're humming along!
