Why do we like this?
As "Faces" fades in, Wale steps up to the mic and explains, "The goal is to never be content with the present. We move fast; we think forward." So it only makes sense that the D.C. rapper's experimental collaboration with Cloudeater would receive such an eclectic rework.
Just a week after enjoying Deku's remix "Hardly Wait," here we are again with more Cloudeater goodness. This time UK-based duo Silent Dust is responsible for the wonky vibes.
For those who may be unfamiliar, wonky is fun word used to describe experimental blends of hip-hop and electronic music. Some might say producers like Flying Lotus personify the genre. I'm inclined to use the word when describing U.K. -based producers, but at the end of the day I think we can all just agree that wonky is a great word.
