Why do we like this?
Have you heard? Atlanta-based Cloudeater broke up. What remains of the electronic rock band is Purge, an impressive, often times heavy release that now also serves as Cloudeater's break-up album.
We're excited to premiere the album's title track, which should sit very well with fans of our last Cloudeater premiere, "Smog." Both songs, along with the rest of Purge, were mixed by Guillermo Scott Herren, aka Prefuse 73. The finished product is "” to borrow a few adjectives from Bandcamp's awesome Cloudeater feature "” tense, hypnotic, and cathartic.
You can explore Purge in full over at Bandcamp.
