As I stated in my last Claude VonStroke post, "
Can't Wait" (a track that harks back to the stylings of "
Who's Afraid of Detroit?") deserves a post of its own, and while that still holds true, VonStroke just uploaded a preview of his second single from the forthcoming album
Urban Animal, and I seriously can't wait to share it.
"Dood" is effortlessly infectious -- a nasty club banger for all those bass-loving booties and the sound we've come to love from those crazy Dirtybirds. Claude's production is playful yet powerful, and about as wily as a West Coast coyote.
Urban Animal will be available worldwide on August 24. The album will feature cover art comprised of a collection of architectural photography depicting disrepair from Detroit and The Midwest, chopped up and reconstructed into the shapes of three amazing animal portraits -- a lion, a lizard, and a bird. Already, this has all the elements of another epic classic from VonStroke.
