Why do we like this?

L.A. duo Classixx is gearing up for the release of their new album Faraway Reach next month, but few would have expected a Passion Pit collab in the mix.

With the likes of Holy Ghost!'s Alex Frankel and How to Dress Well featuring on the album perhaps this isn't too big a surprise, but gosh you should've seen my face.

While the single in question "Safe Inside" isn't breaking any musical boundaries, I think it's safe to say any new music from Passion Pit is always worth a listen. Heck i'll even admit it's a pretty funky little dance number if I do say so myself.

Faraway Reach is out June 3!
