Why do we like this?

Classixx's 2013 album Hanging Gardens is a perfect embodiment of hipster music.  Labelmates De Lux have taken to the hazy synths of the L.A. duo, covering "A Stranger Love," premiering on Indie Shuffle today.

A world away from the fluffy yet smooth tone of the original, De Lux brings a serious bout of energy to their cover.  Funky and jazzy, these two gents move listeners through a completely different experience with their interpretation.  Charged vocals and a wall of sound melody work beautifully, definitely making De Lux's take on "A Stranger Love" more than just your average cover.

Dex Lux will be releasing an album this April via Innovative Leisure. Also, Classixx is going on tour this spring -- don't miss them when they're in your city.
