Following on from the massive success of Matt Simon's "Catch & Release" remix, Deepend has unveiled his latest offering in the form of a captivating collaboration with Claire Guerreso called "I'm Just A Skipping Stone."
A cacophony of different elements, the instrumental is driven by a deep thudding bass line, paving the way for a swelling piano melody, acoustic guitar chords, electric riffs and somber strings.
The silky smooth, hypnotic vocals from Claire Guerreso give it that anthemic quality that played out live will leave with with your eyes shut, head thrown back, and hands in the air.
It's only February, but I'm calling this one as a tune that is going to be the cause of some painful summertime nostalgia at the end of this year.
