Why do we like this?
Citris' new single, "Driving Me Crazy," is a slow and not-so-soft indie-rock anthem that'll stand the test of time.
At first listen, it's hard to tell whether this track was released last week or a decade ago, and I say that in the most positive way possible. Citris is able to keep alive a sub-genre of indie grunge-rock with effortlessness and heady chemistry. It's wailing vocals paired with a quintessential gritty guitar is the perfect sweet and sour mix that music enthusiasts crave. The chord progressions are unassuming and oh so pleasantly surprising. Citris oozes with confidence and conviction, which shines brightly through their music.
