After dropping a surprise cover of Jon Bellion's "All Time Low" earlier this month, Sydney duo, Chymes, are back with a brand new original tune entitled "Shade."
A minimalistic electronic production, "Shade" is built on airy synths with the layered male/female harmonies of Cameron Taylor and Kiersten Nyman once again the key to the songs success. Chymes had this to say about the track:
"The song intimately investigates that that euphoric moment of falling in love, and the initial fear of surrender that comes with it. The story progresses as the character decides to commit to the fall and the blur of it all, letting go and allowing themselves to love."
"Shade" is another brilliant track from Chymes and continues to push them as one of Australia's most enigmatic electronic acts.
