Why do we like this?
The only question I'm left with after reaching the end of this song is... who the heck is Bella?
This track is chock-full of swanky guitar and funky beats, perfect to blast in the car for a groovy morning commute or road trip.
Chicano Batman is a four-piece band based in Los Angeles, California. They formed back in 2008, and since then, the group has been known for using a mix of genres (check out some of their older stuff if you don’t believe me). And that remains true on this song. Listen closely to hear the group weave in hints of soul, funk and indie rock.
On top of that, there’s some awesome percussion going on, which coincides nicely with their use of strings. Overall, it’s a very psychedelic sound with excellent rock elements.
