Why do we like this?

Chet Faker is a damn talented man, and not just in the beard-growing department.  Ta-ku also happens to be a very musically blessed individual, so the fact that these two Australian artists are in the title of this remix is a happy, happy thing.

Stripping down the raw emotions of Faker's beautiful original, Ta-ku seems to have found the depressed, atmospheric place that would be the virtual B-side in life.  Although on some level it's sad to hear Chet's voice manipulated into various states of being - and none of his classic style - it absolutely works with the remix.
