Last time we covered the Melbourne artist Chet Faker, it was to bring you his awesome rework of Blackstreet's "
No Diggity." While that was a gimme to post, I'm always skeptical when artists move from covering others into the realm of original work. Generally, it sucks.
Yesterday, Chet Faker proved that he's not about to fall into the land of obscure remixers and cover artists. He's making a push to establish himself as a solid, original artist, and "I'm Into You" definitely makes a strong case.
The song will be featured on his upcoming album
Thinking in Textures.
