"Get High" is a pshychedelic ode to its namesake; a joyfully composed downtempo sound that had me doing the cinematic 'chair spin' while listening. Lyrically the song has a beautifully conflicting narrative: the sounds make you wanna chill and detach but the lyrics tell you why -- it's pretty melancholic but in the vibiest way.
"I wanna get high,I wanna take a break from myself"
Chet Fake has always been a required-listening playlist mainstay and with "Get High" they truly justify their ground in the downtempo electronic space and the outro melody leaves me bopping.
