Why do we like this?

Who doesn't love a good Chet Faker remix? Especially if it sounds as good as this...

D-Pulse are a St. Petersburg-based jam-band that have been going at it for quite some time now. They've got a ton of songs up on their SoundCloud, but this one happens to be the first to catch my attention.

The remix has a smooth, funky overtone that in some ways reminds me of the recent releases by Soulwax (eg, this rendition of Tame Impala). Clocking in at a little over 6-and-a-half minutes, it actually ends up hitting the perfect tempo - especially as far as "jams" are concerned.
