Why do we like this?
Cherokee is back at it. A couple weeks ago, I wrote a review of "Teenage Fantasy," and today we're blessed with another brand new cut from the Luxembourg DJ/producer.
In "Dakota," Cherokee has fine-tuned his standard-setting nu-disco sound. The man has an incredible ear for near-perfect synth lines, drum lines, and sultry vocals, which come together beautifully in this hypnotic track. To weather the cold winter months, we're going to need a serious dose of new Cherokee.
Thankfully, this is the second single off of Cherokee's upcoming six-track EP, which is called Teenage Fantasy and is due out February 16.
