Why do we like this?
Thurston Moore continues his outlet for aggressive punk rock tunes after disbanding Sonic Youth with this small collaborative band Chelsea Light Moving. An obscure name referencing Philip Glass and Steve Reich and a few other less-well-known musicians sounds about right for a quick Thurston Moore side project.
The first single, "Burroughs," was released last year, and is chock full of Thurston's unique guitar riffs laid over a pretty rockin' rhythm section. Seems he's having fun with this one!
