Lofi often lends itself to the narratives, narratives that evolve and create spaces. With "McNulty" Chelou takes us on an audio journey with electric sounds turn down to minimum speed and a fingerpicked guitar that holds our hand through everything.
It's also just so endearing that the track creates a wholly unique space, but doesn't let go of its lofi roots. It's a unique character in a very familiar book.
With every new track from this album, I'm falling more and more in love with its sound and world.
