Why do we like this?
The first time I hit play on this song I was convinced that they'd messed something up real bad. The intro is just so dissonant in its melody that, well, it almost sounds like two songs are playing at the same time.
Perhaps it's that intro which makes the transition to the meat and potatoes of the song so damn good on the ear. When that hit I knew I was listening to someone seriously talented, and that the intro probably accomplished exactly what it set out to do.
