Toronto soul singer and multi-instrumentalist Charlotte Day Wilson has been making waves on the blogosphere this year, and she has only released two singles to date.
Coupled with some stellar collaborations such as a feature with BADBADNOTGOOD, and a collaboration with froyo ma, she is making a name for herself as another one to watch from Toronto, which seems to be the breeding ground of some of the best modern soul and R&B artists at the moment (River Tiber, Daniel Caesar, and the list goes on).
Her dazzling second single "Work" is a slow moving offering, awash with soulful, gospel tinged harmonies, organ strains, and a comforting bass line which is perfect for a chilled Sunday afternoon.
