Why do we like this?
Charli XCX is a UK babe with some golden pipes, a la Jessie Ware or AlunaGeorge. Releasing a new single from her forthcoming album True Romance, she's showing definite promise of longevity.

"What I Like" is a strong single to come out with, as it draws from electronic, pop, and hip-hop simultaneously (and quite effortlessly). Charli XCX has appeal for the masses, and it will be interesting to see how far True Romance catapults her. Seeing as the 90s-inspired female vocalists from the UK are owning the blogosphere at the moment, I'm sure it will not be a short ride for this lady.

The LP is due out April 16, 2013 from IAMSOUND.
