Charli XCX is wasting no time keeping the momentum flowing since the release of her eclectic debut True Romance. She's teamed up with fellow UK songstress Marina and the Diamonds on the single "Just Desserts," covered The Backstreet Boys, and has put out new singles left, right and center, with the latest being the shiny pop tune "Super Love."
"Super Love" is pure, unadulterated pop at its finest. Forget your Katy Perrys and Lady Gagas, Charli XCX has nailed everything that's great about modern pop music with this uptempo electro ditty, putting her contemporaries to shame. Said to be taken from her in progress sophomore album, "Super Love" has a touch of the 90s to it, which shouldn't come as a surprise considering Charli's affinity for the decade.
