I've said it before and I'll say it again -- there is nothing I love more than a great debut, and Berlin-based three-piece CHAMPYONS have delivered exactly that.
Inspired by the great artist collectives of the pop-art and early hip-hop era, the band have drawn from their own influences to develop genre-bending collages of popular culture and musical references. CHAMPYONS generated international attention through their feature on Skrillex's "Free Treats" EP, collaborating with electronic music heavy-weight Zedd on the track "Changes."
They are now gearing up to release their first full-length release, collaborating with renowned artist and sculptor Michael Sailstorfer.
