Why do we like this?

For those of you who are unsure who Chairlift is, the song "Bruises" from a few years back should refresh your memory.

Comparing that aforementioned pop song with this new single, "Ch-Ching," presents us with two completely different bands. The maturity provided by seven years of evolution is clearly evident, and in that I think I find the true beauty of this song.

Its complexity is unabashedly bold, asserting loud and clear that the Brooklyn-based band aren't here to appease the masses; they're here to make good music.

"Ch-Ching" will appear on upcoming LP Moth.
