Why do we like this?
A couple months ago, Adele remixes were a dime a dozen. The majority of them focused on one song: "Rolling in the Deep." Typically, I find that the late-comers to the remix game fall to the wayside. For example, can there really be any good new remixes of Empire of the Sun's "Walking on a Dream"? And even if there were, would we recognize that, or just blow the song off as 'another remix of that song'?
Fortunately it doesn't seem to be much of a concern for CAZZETTE, a Swedish DJ duo that have actually only ever met once. Using their virtual resources, they did a couple things right: 1) picked a song by Adele that hasn't already been remixed a million times; 2) did it pretty darn well. The end result is that while I was looking for an electronica track for today's SOTD, I've happily landed on this track.
