Cautious Clay's "Puffer" is a track that explodes into psych-rock from the get-go and doesn't disappoint with its flamboyance and intimacy.
It's the speed of this track that got me, it's a fast track and yet it gives in to itself now and then. It's high-energy alt-rock reminiscent of drive tracks or some sort of new-age hyper rock, but at the same time, it has this calm and thoughtful lyrical construction that makes the soundscape something more than just being loud.
It's tactile and powerful, and a gem of a track
