San Francisco's Cathedrals continue to make waves, with latest single "OOO AAA" further pushing them on the path to being a household name in 2015.
Though backed by interesting percussion and choppy vocals, the introduction of the song starts with a dark vibe not unlike something that'd come out of MS MR's camp. My guess is it's the heavy bass and haunting synth work that set the spooky mood.
Then, around the 1:45 minute mark the chorus hits, marked by arpeggios and a really cool guitar part. This well-orchestrated instrumentation perfectly carries the (perhaps too repetitive) use of "OOO AAAs," pulling the listener in and keeping them interested.
