Why do we like this?
Here's an amazing and complex track from UK-based Catching Flies.
The title "Daymarks" and other elements of this track have me thinking about sunrise. Whatever images it gives you, it's exquisite when you think about how it's all been put together. Watch for the stripped-back piano solo in the middle, how heavy the beat gets in sections and the hints of seagulls and the ocean in the intro and ending.
Catching Flies says this track comes from the vaults. He dug it out while recently working on some new stuff. Hard to believe something this good sat out of our reach for so long. Also, I wonder what his upcoming release might be like that prompted this trip into his backlog?
