Why do we like this?

This track hooked me in, and I was having a lovely old melancholic time for the first minute or so. Then, at the 1:14 mark a nice upbeat combination of instrumentation enters from left-field, and well... I'm sunk.

The duo were recently picked up by Danger Village, an LA-based agency that has a pretty good knack for supporting the right bands. Unsurprisingly, the duo of Eric Poretsky & Jakob Shawbehind Catalina come from that same city (LA, of course).

Anywho, it's a nice and easy-going folk song. I figure a lot of people will dig.
