Why do we like this?
Melbourne's Casper Cult have made quite a home for themselves on the Indie Shuffle airwaves this fall, popping up with "Industrial Love" in late October and "Endless Nightmare" in mid-November.
Dylan Hill (production) and Alisha Linsdell (vocals) stick to their comfort zones throughout the rest of Casper Cult's debut EP, which we're premiering today. Lucky for us the duo's comfort zone is pretty far left of center.
Featured track "Pale & Naked" mesmerizes with its simple yet focused use of synths and manipulated vocals. Closing track "I've Been Killing Us" feels more straightforward, building on some very melancholic guitar strums and expansive percussion.
Casper Cult's Domesticated EP is out today on Dry Cry Records.
