Why do we like this?
Last time we caught up with Carousel they had just released an awesome new cover of Robyn's "Dancing On My Own." While that was only a month back, the good news is that they're now unleashing a slew of new singles in anticipation of their upcoming EP Palms (due August 5th).
Berklee graduates Kevin Friedman and Jackson Phillips have worked hard to establish their own unique sound -- and at this point it's incredibly recognizable to my eardrums. "Not Enough," the latest single to hit the limelight, follows the path of prior upbeat indie pop singles. It's a relatively safe track that neither offends nor amazes, ultimately keeping me stuck in limbo as far as anticipation for this EP goes. Fingers crossed that the next single strays a bit from their comfort zone...
Until then, enjoy "Not Enough" for all it's indie pop glory.
