Why do we like this?
Look, if I've had one complaint about Carousel in the past it's that their music tends to sound the same across the board. But, that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable in small doses. And "My New Friend" proves just that.
The song was released two days ago, but has already racked up nearly 25k plays on SoundCloud -- and received plenty of coverage across the blogosphere. Clearly I'm not alone in enjoying this.
So, consider it a bit of a guilty pleasure on my behalf. I wouldn't be inclined to listen to a full album by the band, but a new track every now and again is more than welcome.
