Why do we like this?
The Guardian recently alerted us to Sheffield artist Carnivals, describing him as "the missing link between Burial and The Beatles."
While that description might be overdoing it a little, Carnivals is undoubtedly a very exciting artist, tying together a raft of influences to create a sound that more truthfully lies somewhere between Shlohmo and Washed Out, all underscored with a healthy amount of bass.
