Why do we like this?
It's a public holiday in the United States today. And while I'm not living there, it appears that most artists throughout the world are playing it smart: they're aware that web traffic is slower today, and so they aren't releasing any new tracks.
But fear not! There's still good music to be had. I've had this one saved on the back burner for some time now as a potential Song of the Day, and finally it gets to see the light of day.
Three years have passed since Four Tet remixed "Melody Day" by Caribou (off the 2007 album Andorra). The original had a bit more of an upbeat tempo to it, whereas Four Tet turns it into something worthy of Sunday Night Chill. Either way, still good.
