Why do we like this?
Where words fail, Dan Snaith and his Caribou band fill in. In the four years since we've heard new music from Caribou I've managed to watch Dan DJ -- I cried a bit -- and also eat an actual caribou.
"Home" signals a strong return from Mr. Snaith. If song titles are anything to go by, which they are, considering there was a song called "Back Home" on the famed Our Love album, I wonder what it all could mean?
It probably means that Dan is mostly making music when he's home. I bet those two songs are the first he had worked on after returning from being on tour; add some lazy file naming, et voilà, a trend emerges.
