Why do we like this?

With a ton of pop sensibilities and well produced layers of sound, Cardboard Club hit the nail on the head with the fun and catchy “Katy.” The song is the opening track from their first EP, On Three.

Everything about this song is perfect for radio play, or party play for that matter. It’s fast paced, bouncy and full of youthful energy, not to mention all of the stellar production from such an outfit.

The instruments are tight, the electronics well placed, with the band not relying too much on technology to carry the weight. I’m curious to see where this group lands in the future, they have the talent and sound for marquee lights someday.
