Why do we like this?

Captain Supernova has built a rep as a galactic funkateer. Past projects have brought a boogie to spaced out vibes, and with his upcoming album Doors of Perception, he's looking to venture a bit further out. 

For the first taste of his new voyages, the Captain brings us a collaboration with singer Laura Mace. 

There's something a bit melancholic about "Leaving The Past Behind." It feels like space-funk noir, with Mace's vocals sounding like a smokey speakeasy in orbit.
